Tut est un pêcheur de 52 ans vivant à Kampot. Malgré la barrière de la langue, il a raconté, pour la première fois et sans mots, son passé sous les Khmers Rouges, à une photographe et une réalisatrice, mimant les tortures subites en prison l'année de ses 15 ans. Ce projet partage cette rencontre et témoigne de la mémoire enfouie, de la manière dont elle transparait dans les gestes, les attitudes et les regards, la manière dont elle marque quelqu'un à vie et constitue une personne. Les traumas physiques et psychologiques de Tut permettent de mettre en lumière les cicatrices historiques du Cambodge.

Tut is a 52 years old fisherman living in Kampot. In spite of the language barrier, he told, for the first time and without any words, about his past during the Khmer Rouge Regime, to a photographer and a director, showing the hard treatments he experienced in a prison the year he turned fifteen. This shared encounter talks about the buried memory, the way it shows through gestures, attitudes and glances, the way it marks someone for life and constitutes a person. Tut's psychological and physical traumas bring to light the historical scars of Cambodia.
